Research papers that examine broad issues related to the adoption and diffusion of information technologies and systems are of interest to this track. Since modern information technologies and systems are pervasive in a variety of settings, the track is open to research at any level of analysis (e.g., individual, organization, society) and any type or combination of types of information technology. Conceptual papers that advance theory or provide unique viewpoints as well as traditional theory-driven empirical papers are considered. To foster discussion in current research, research-in-progress papers are also welcome for submission. Research from any paradigm- positivist, interpretivist or critical – is appreciated. Before submitting your research paper to this track, please consider whether it would be more appropriate to submit it to one of the other tracks.
