Technology adoption is one of the most mature streams of research in information systems in particular and business in general. This presentation will present a reflection on the prior work in this stream and identify potential interesting directions for future research. Specifically, Professor Venkatesh will discuss his past and current research on technology adoption, and identify potential opportunities for scientific and practical contributions based on knowledge gaps and technology and societal trends.
